1. While you are creating new journal entries within the ADD Journal Entries option you may make changes to your new journal entry by selecting Change from the command options which appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.
2. A dotted line will appear around the first line of the journal entry. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the line that needs to be changed.
3. Press Enter until the field you wish to edit is highlighted.
4. Make any needed changes to the field and press Enter.
As each Journal Entry line is added, the Total Debit balance and Total Credit balance for the journal entry will appear in the header of the Journal Entry along with a "Short" balance for the difference between the Total Debit and Total Credit.
5. Command options will appear:
Select Update to save the changes made.
The journal entry has now been changed.
Note: A journal entry cannot be changed once it has been updated. The Change option is only available as you are creating a journal entry.
Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.
